Built on discipline.
Run on fun.

More than belts and trophies — we focus on the kid (or adult) who walks back through the door tomorrow stronger than they walked out today. Manatee County families have been training with us since 2023.

01 / Journey

The journey,
not just the belt

We focus on character, growth, and confidence. Rankings come — but they're a checkpoint, never the destination. Every class moves you forward.

02 / Family

Family &
community first

A welcoming dojo where parents, kids, and adults all feel at home. Train together, grow together. Our students become each other's biggest fans.

03 / Energy

Fun meets
structure

Discipline doesn't have to be dull. Our classes balance high energy with real instruction — students leave excited to come back, not burnt out.

Find your fight.

Two core programs designed around how kids actually grow — and how adults actually want to train. Built for the long haul, not a quick belt grab.

Parents asked.
We answered.

Our dojo is at 6849 Buffalo Rd in Palmetto, FL — just off I-75 and US-301. We regularly serve families from Palmetto, Parrish, Ellenton, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and the broader Manatee County area. Our after-school pickup program covers schools throughout these towns, and our camps draw students from all over the region.

We teach American Jujutsu — a kid-friendly, family-oriented style that blends elements of jiu-jitsu, karate, and traditional martial arts. It's grounded in the seven tenets of the Bushido Code (respect, courage, integrity, honor, perseverance, benevolence, loyalty) and focuses on practical self-defense, character building, and genuine technique progression. If you're searching for "kids karate" or "jiu-jitsu near me," our program covers what most parents are actually looking for.

Our Wolf Pups program is designed for ages 3–6 — pre-jujutsu fundamentals taught through games and movement. Our main Jujutsu program is for ages 7 and up, including teens, adults, and parents who want to train alongside their kids. Many of our families have multiple generations on the mat together.

Yes — every new student gets a free trial class with no commitment and no pressure. You can book a free trial here or call us at (941) 544-5572. Most parents in Palmetto, Parrish, and Bradenton tell us they knew within one class whether Alpha was the right fit for their kid.

We pick up your child directly from elementary schools across Palmetto, Parrish, and Ellenton in our marked Alpha van. Kids get structured time for homework, snacks, movement, and a daily martial arts class — turning the 3pm-to-evening stretch into the most productive part of their day. Visit our after-school site for current schools served and pricing.

Yes — we run full summer camps, school-out days, holiday camps (Thanksgiving, winter break, spring break), and Parent's Night Out events. Manatee County families love our camps because we mix martial arts with field trips, games, and real activity. Visit our camps site to see what's currently booking.

We're family-owned, family-operated, and intentionally small — so every student gets known by name. Sensei Adam and Sensei Rhonda personally lead classes and know every kid's progress. We're not a franchise. We don't rush belts. We don't use martial arts as daycare. Our focus is the journey: the student who walks back through our doors stronger than they walked in. Come try a free class and feel the difference yourself.
